Since Zuni, New Mexico, is located far away from the ocean, it's a little unusual to find a conch shell decorated by a Zuni artist in Native American motif. It has been part of my collection for many years . . . it was a gift from one of my artist friends when I lived and worked there many years ago. Sadly the tip is broken as you can see from the photos, but it doesn't take away from its beauty. It's almost as if the break has become part of the character of the shell. Because of the "imperfection", I am selling it for half the price you would normally pay.
The shell is about 6 inches by 3 inches. All sales final.
